Looking for suggestions for an area with decent trails conditions to go for a day ride near Eau Claire, within a 2-3 hour drive.. Not familiar with Minnesota trails. Heard Hayward is good but icy. Same for Mercer.
Not sure what the snow conditions are but I have a cabin in the Chetek / Rice Lake area. There are some great trails through the blue hills near Weyerhauser and Birchwood.
