Looking For Firewood

I am looking for a semi truck load of logs for firewood like how Mr. John Dee gets his wood. The problem is that I am in south eastern MI (Howell) and there are not very many options. I have been looking around without much sucess or huge delivery cost from the northern lower. Does anyone here know of anyone in the Howell region where I could get some firewood?

DNR does not approve of moving firewood long distances so best bet is local logger.

I am also in SE MI and have seen logs like you are looking fo by the cord on the AnnArbor Craigslist, I would look there search firewood.

I have a friend who cuts and sells wood and he gets his wood by the truckload from a guy who delivers it from the Grayling area down to the Port Huron area...and then my friend cuts it up and splits it all and can still make a profit on Oak so the price must be right. This is a big self unloader truck with long logs so you have to have a place to off load and then cut the stuff up. I will get a phone number if you need it.
