I worked at Chinns during the "long lines" days! That place was a gold mine! Great Mai Tai's with the original Meyers rum! One drink and you were feeling it!

Speaking of the gangsters, there were rumors that when the addition was put on Chinns that there were tunnels underground they had to bury. Again, rumors?

Hearing about the changes there I'll have to drive by on my next visit. Been wanting to hit the new Super Dog next to Chinns too. This whole area is my old stomping ground.

I vaguely remember getting free jackets for every one at our table because of how many pitchers of Mai Tai's we drank.
The cheapest paper fish colorful jackets....... Have picture with Bob Chin with our group wearing them.

When vendors come in to town that is one of the places I have them take me to :)

PD, didn't hang at game world to much. Pretty played sports at Heritage Park when I was a kid and rode my dirt bike up at Lake Cook and Milwaukee if you remember that! When I got to be a teenager we hung around the "woods" or mall etc....

Don't remember the Greek joint. Just Hackneys, Hot Shots, and a bar or two around Randhurst.

And how can I forget "family fest"! Good times there! Didn't Three Dog Night play there?

I remember those jackets! Is that cranky old guy still alive? Man he ran a tight ship!

Wheeling has some bad apartment complexes. Gang writing right on the front doors. Old Willow road technically in Prospect Heights but right next to Wheeling has some ok Complexes. You really need to visit these places in person because you can get a real pit right next to a good place. it's all about property management. Look on the mailboxes and try to find the ones where most names end in "ski." Good looking girls that need husbands. LOL.

Anybody remember Haymaker's bar and music joint? I saw some good shows there back in the day.
