looking for polaris motor

my son just blew his motor in his 2002 600 edge x. looks like a rod came through the whole bottom of motor. wondering if anyone out there knows of anyone that would have a liberty motor. open to suggestions. either a 600, 700, or 800 motor would probably work.

There is 1 600 liberty listed on ebay for $999, also came out of an 02. There is also a crankcase for $225 if you want to rebuild what you got. I noticed the crankcase will work for a 600 or 700, so those two motors must be more less identical on the outside; not sure about the 800.

Check the guy in omro who parts sleds for a living. He usually has everything

I already checked with Skippy's garage just outside of omro. he said he was all out. I suppose the one listed on e-bay for $999 is about going rate. I got lucky 4 years ago and got one for my sled for $500. still in there today and running goog. knock on wood.

I called king blunder. They didnt have one either. I'm open to a any suggestions on places to call. If you know of a place that might have a motor please let me know. ASAP.

I have been calling around to different snowmobile shops and salvage yards and at one place I could Get a motor that is compltly new. Rebuilt . for $1200. Is that considered a good price. The motor is completely rebuilt. New everything. I'm open to any suggestions

Wish mine would have blown up a month ago.
