I'll be ALL over that area This Saturday through Saturday. (Staying in Ahmeek) I'll Keep an Eye open. If it's found and needs a ride back, let me know before I leave.
Cell phone needs no cell signal for GPS to work. And my cell, regardless of lock or not, you have to bypass the CONTACT page first to do anything with it. the phone goes to Contact page 15 seconds after non use.

Lets find it, for those of us who are out and about, ya never know. Keep it alive even when the snow melts. I found an Ipod on my property that sat in the snow for a couple of months. It was wet. I put it in a bag of rice and used a blow dryer. That was 3 yrs ago. It still works now.

I noticed you keep mentioning the phone and camera, question is, shouldn't everyone be looking for a windshield bag instead? or was the bag unzipped. A bag discription would go a long way such as color etc. Does the bag have a skidoo logo on it. What is at the back of my mind is, How does a windshield bag fall off that is in front of you while trail riding and not see or feel it fall off? Are you sure it was not stolen off your sled at a stop during that day and you noticed it while driving down the trail. Reason I ask is I had a GPS stolen off my sled at a pit stop once and searched the trail for miles in denial.Okay I think I just gave up hope. Seeing that there is a winter storm warning with a potential for another 9-15 inches. Best hope I have is for spring...
Not feeling so good right now.
Thanks for everyone's efforts and suggestions though!
