That sucks....lost a ramp to my trailer when it was almost brand new (my fault, forgot to bolt it in). I feel your pain, Indy, hope you get it back.

That is the Snow Gremlins gettin' back at ya for dissing the edge's:D

well my edge let me down. figured out what my mom broke when she got it caught on railroad track. trailing arm mount. dont even know where to start. and trails open sunrise tomorrow AFTER i packed down the swamp this afternoon to get them open with this exact sled. Got the sled home and looked it over and noticed trailing arm not as sturdy.

at least you took it off! i broke the radius rod also on my 700 today and rushed back to truck and trailer on my dads sled to go pick my dad and sister up. Loaded it tied it down and took off. I'm pretty sure you can guess what i forgot...

Call the local Police Department Non-emergency number and see if they moved it out of the road in the area you think it could be, be polite, explain the situation, what could it hurt.

just tried that and left message at highway dept and have a report filed looking for it. they had no calls on it so far though. THanks for the suggestion!

I would think the highway dept could fine you for losing your load on the highway. Very dangerous stuff there.

Last year I was tooling along hauling a a load of sleds North on 43 close to Green Bay. I did not notice the ramp laying in my lane. 2 flat tires and a mangled mess jammed under the trailer. Fun times.

Tie your stuff down for the love of god!

I would call the local scrap yard. Chances are real good that someone grabbed it and took it to the scrap yard. You'd have to buy it back, but what the heck.

I just missed one south of Eagle River a few years back. It was about 5 am, what a wake up call. Gut reaction was to swerve to miss it, luckily roads were dry and the 32 ft trailer followed and not pushed.

chance are if your ramp finders see your ad they wont put one up to sell it for a while or post it elsewhere!
50/50 they would be honest and call you!
Sorry but that's being generous even! most ditchdivers that would even stop for it see $$
Good luck tho! I hope you get it back the right way!
I would post a short note in the bars and stores in that area and try to word it for people to feel sorry for you!
Like " I'm 16 and its my first trailer and milked 2 million cows to pay for it" or something like that!
Also word your craigslist ad making the ramp finders to feel SUPER sorry for you!
did you post in "lost and found" if so you should put it in "snowmobiles", Trailers, utility trailers, casual incounters! Jk on that last one! ha

GOOD LUCK! I hope you get it back!

Buy it anyway Indy. You couldn't build it for 100.00 Make it into " The Favorite Family Ramp".lol. I hear you are good at fixin' things. And by the way....I lost a ramp 10 yrs, ago near Munising. I found it by calling the Chamber of Commerce. Someone found it in the Shell parking lot. After I got it home, I welded my name and tele. no. on it for future lost and finds. Don't forget to add "Reward" on the tail end of it. An incentive that works for many. Good luck kid.

Indy I go by that intersection on my way to work. I'll keep a eye out for it. But I don't think you'll see it till the snow melts. Someone probably saw it and in the road and threw it off to the side. With all the snow we have had its in the ditch from the snowplow. I really hate that intersection when traveling north or south. I know a guy that his trailer came off going over that bump.
