I can say we have lots of snow now. Have had good snow for a month and ever better now. Sunday we rode and I dug down on a untouched logging road and we had about 24-26" and new we have well over a ft of new snow in he last few days. Very good riding to be had. Looks like our broken down groomer will be back in the next few days and we can groom even better. I have riding so much in the last month I am tired of riding. My buddy "flat top Brad" was here for 3 days of riding and we rode 30 miles sat, 27 sun and 13 mon but is an exciting time and just being outside in beautiful country with good friends is as good as it gets.

the orange crossfire was parked yesterday morning and it's got some snow on it, My burning barrel is getting deep and it's sitting on bricks. There is a trampoline next to the tree, you can just see a bit if it. The snow is deep!

I'm north of the bridge and during/after the blizzard you could boondock on the trail. Had one stretch early yesterday out of Phoenix, we had to turn back. Just the wife and me and didn't feel like digging out her sled, it isn't Yamaha heavy, but heavy. (jk lenny). Sure missed a few of those signs during the heavy blinding winds, couldn't tell if on the trail or a logging stretch that would dead end.
Got to go, time to ride :)

285732_512185432165195_783775859_n.jpg Nice pics of the snow Lenny, looks like you have a little more than i do cause the neighbors burn barrel is showing a little more. Here's a pic of my SRX on a bank next to the driveway. If you stand in the driveway the bottom of the sled's tunnel is over my head.........................................Hey Lenny i have some friends from Wauconda up today and they want to ride. I told them i would take them to the Hoop then the Porkies, let me know if you can meet up and maybe show us around...

nice!, I just got in and checked this site, sorry for delay. I have some sled repairs and maintenance to do and will not be able to ride for a few days. Some other time for sure though!

Some of my snow day pictures:

Picture 1 is Tuesday afternoon, not even one of the strongest squalls.

Picture 2, while the depth of snow is sort of hard to tell from the photo, we pretty much had the front of our house clear of snow just two weeks ago for Winter Carnival, now its back up to around 2 1/2 to 3 feet of snow depth.

Taking pictures of snow never seems to do it justice. I have snow piles 10-12 feet tall in front of my house and in pictures they just look like little bumps.

Rode the trails during Tuesdays storm storm from Copper Harbor south to Twin Lakes. Drifts of 4ft were not uncommon north of the bridge especially bad around brockway and just south of Mohawk. The conditions were blizzard pretty much of the way from Copper Harbor to Hancock. Lots of snow south of the bridge too but a little less wind and better visibility.
