LVD Casino - How's it looking these days?

Has anyone stayed here the last two years? How's it looking and have they cleaned things up good? I know the pool and hot tub areas were a disaster a couple years ago and it made me wonder if that was really the source of the water contamination.

Also, would someone know the mileage roundtrip from the casino to Marquette and back?

Head north on 3 my friend, Marquette doesn't want sledderz there anyway; better snow too.

Thanks for the reply's guys! I'm scouting for a future trip with the wife and that is just what I suspected on mileage to Marquette and conditions of the hotel. Kind of forgot about Marquette being sled friendly too so that was good input! I'll be sure to head north then Fujifilm!

Okay, scratch that one off......

Wife and I stayed in october and it was the same. Pool area still closed for remodel and looked like maybe remodel on one section of rooms on N end. No complaints! Food and drink were real good as usual.

That's promising. The pool and hot tub area were rather nasty cleanliness wise when we were there last. I'd have to say the rooms did need to be upgraded too but that didn't bother me as much. We liked the convenience of the bar and entertainment on the weekends. Of course I tried my luck on a couple slots too.
