Be aware that the “Ice Bridge” to Mackinac Island is DONE. If you had plans to make the crossing this weekend please make other plans! The sudden warm weather and wind have made it extremely unsafe to cross.
A snowmobile near Mackinac Island this morning (02/25) very sadly went through the ice.
Have friends that planned to cross? Please let them know! No ice is safe ice! We know SO many of our customers last weekend enjoyed being able to use the Ice Bridge to visit Mackinac + would not want any of our visitors to believe it was okay to cross this weekend.
