Man vs. Wild - Canadian Rockies

If you can catch this episode on Discovery Channel I highly suggest watching it. It doesn't compare to Mike's class but gives a new angle when you see the avalanche part. I also really liked the blizzard segment.

I won't share if we ever get stuck in the woods or out west. I bet then you won't give me crap.

LOL, I've already started on adding a lot of your stuff, to my pack. Lots of great ideas. I picked up some parachute cord at Gander Mt yesterday.

I recorded it and am watching it now. Great episode. I think I'll be adding a few more things to my pack. I need to weigh it this year but I'm gonna guess it is close to 40 lbs.

Cuzz, I don't know how you do it. After the first day last year out in Tog, my pack started getting smaller and small each day after.... Found I wasn't nearly as tired at the end of the day too.
Bought a vastly smaller pack this year... got to learn to consolidate and use my tunnel pack.

It actually feels weird not to wear the backpack and have the weight on my back. I feel now that it helps me balance more.
