"Crap". Come on...we have very high quality ingredients, especially compared to some of our competition. We do have healthy menu items, just look for them.

Definitely like the Angus mushroom Swiss. I'm with you there.

I say "we" because I'm a franchisee. Yes, we are doing well despite the economy and am very thankful for that. As a result I can make numerous trips to northern Wisconsin and the U.P. enjoying this awesome sport while helping the local economy by purchasing gas and eating at restaurants along the trail. All of my service and maintenance is done in Norway Michigan at Redline Sport & Marine (yes, that's a plug). I couldn't do any of this without the success of McD's. We aren't trying to trick anyone or deceive. These days everyone wants " a deal". People have almost become conditioned to expect it. the Marketing people think it works for us. My own philosophy is provide a clean restaurant, serving good quality food and be friendly doing it and the customers will come back.

I guess you just proved my point there! :)

The "crap" I was referring to is the upsell "Large" items you need to get the game pieces. They used to but those things on everything but now you have to spend extra for that one in a zillion chance to get that elusive piece.

For the record, I'm have the 1/3 lb Angus Mushroom Swiss Combo in REGULAR size today for lunch. :D

Nice!

to be honest, I don't know officially why they are on the large items. I personally am glad they are because we have to do something to encourage people to purchase something other than the 1$ menu items. Remember, when we market an item at a discounted price we are not only hoping to sell more of that item but more additional items as well, like fries, drinks, desserts. That's how we make money. If our entire menu board was on the dollar menu we wouldn't be around very long. We have to pay the bills too.

I'm here on this site all the time. In fact I even am on the NCN Cam network. I just couldn't resist adding my .02 to the topic.

MMMMMMMMMMMMM That was good!

Gathered the pieces from the orders and it appears none of the are on the endangered pieces list. :(

There was a Free any Large Beef Sandwich but it excludes the Big Mac - Now that makes alot of sense!

Big Mac's have the game pieces on them. That's why. When ordering a "regular" size value meal, you get 2 game pieces, both on the medium (21oz) cup. When you up-size the value meal the larger fry has 4 game pieces. So you get more for up-sizing the value meal, increasing your chances on winning.

This is fun!

Are we really increasing our chances of winning by spending more for the "Large" size, or are we just increasing the pile of non-winning pieces and your snowmobiling slush fund? (Not that I have a problem with the latter)

Catwoman, Thats how I felt. Easy come easy go. My friend did the well work, so his family got to eat at Mickey D's, Since then I have won many times at stupid games. Went to the Bahamas for a 1 day cruise last xmas eve, 149.00 for 2 with a cabin. Got free play, 3x got black jack, only played the 3 hands the whole trip. But played big the last 2, the wife won 900.00 in the first hour, I quit and kept my winnings, pd for the trip, and all of xmas expenses, had a great time. Went on a 10.99 radio gambling cruise with 6 friends, I won 170.00 on my free play and quit, when we got back to Port Everglades, no one had money to pay for parking. LOL. The morel of the story, Quit while your ahead. [Indy 500, this is my 100th post]

I could always say what you do with the rare FRNASH mistake..."Oh, I did that on purpose just to see if you would catch it!" But no, I have my "man pants" on and I'm a gonna "man up" and admit it!

Busted!
