currently 44" and full sun in mercer. grade is completely done. snow is melting fast. all plowed road routes bare.
Yeah the plowed roads had a dusting at best when I was there last weekend so they will either be bare ice/rocks or asphalt. And the grade was thin south of Yukon, only rode it down to cranberry. North of yukon it was nice and no rocks
Coming up on Saturday morning. No real choice as the cabin is booked and this is the only weekend I can get away. Staying on Island Lake. If I remember correctly quite a few of the trails around there are road trails but there are trails like 9 and 14 to the South and 13 Hogsback to the North that are not. Any word on how these trails survived yesterday's warm up? Which direction would be recommended to ride? N.W. or N.E.? Would 9 down to Turtle Flambeau Flowage still be OK? We have 4 days of riding to do so hopefully some of the snow forecasted will come in!

Trail 14 will be great going south, but you have to run about 2 miles of road to get there then if you head further south the it turns to swamp creek and was pretty bad until you hit trail by FF again. Going north 15 was good, 13 was good but there was a good section of road when you first get on 13 from 15 to the north. 13c was a lot of road as well.
