Btw where are they parked when stuff is taken, out by truck and trailers or out back by room windows?

In and around Mercer for years I have heard of sled parts being stolen. I knew 2 guys who had their seats and panels taken about 5-6 years ago over New Years. But then again I read posts made all over the Midwest about people stealing crap off sleds if not taken the whole damn thing. Not like the old days when you could leave a key in your sled and and helmet on sled while you stop at a bar for break.
Been happening since the 70s. Used to be Minocqua. I think we hear more about it these days due to social media.
One time we were in a gentleman’s club near namakagon a couple years ago Arrived at 2 pm didnt get a ride out until 2 am. Buddys panels were stripped from his polaris. Couldn’t believe someone would do that to a guy. Was one heck of a good laugh watching him ride that sled home to the trailer the next day and then having to return it to his dad and explain what happened. Good times.

It was a heavy iowa crowd. I think they got made when we hit the tip rail with 5s. They were bored after that.
There are private homes on the other side of that lake that use it for trail access.Just curious: Where are sleds going when they take off across that small lake behind Northern? Doesn't seem like a short cut. Just want to rip on the ice?
