Mercer to Lake in the Clouds mileage

Does anyone know what it would be mileage wise to go Mercer wis to Lake n clouds

I'm guessing 175-200 there and back

I have a guess also. By road it is 79 mi one way. My guess is 250+ by sled.

From town of mercer around 85 to LOC. We rode from south end of flowage (springstead) there and it was just under 200 round trip.

It is over 200 because of the 11N being closed.

Not sure when you are planning to try that trip. Conditions and traffic can be big factors on how long it takes. Trails have started to get better with colder temps, so that will help for that ride. Bad thing is the lower snow currently in that region right now.

But, if you do go, plan for gas in White Pine. It not premium, but it will get you home There is no gas in Silver City.
