MI Trail Pass at retailers question

same 2"x3" sticker....ordered online and received them in a week.

Maybe refering to the different look of the trail pass purchased through a hunting license retailer. They are on the same paper as hunting licenses and are twice as big. Can be cut in half, but still look different.

Get your trail permit from either the MSA or DNR directly or Convention & Visitors Bureau. If you purchase this at a retail outlet that sells hunting & fishing licenses you will get a larger decal & believe me, it can be removed easily. The actual State permit will VOID when it's removed making it useless for a thief.-Mezz
The one at retailers is the same size. You follow directions and rip it in half using the perforated line in the middle.

The DNR one has a hologram (silver) bar along the side of it. It is printed much nicer. It is prettier but does the same thing.

It does the same thing, but, like a said previously, the pre-printed permits will VOID when removed making useless for a thief.-Mezz
ahhhh makes sense. Never even thought of some one stealing the sticker.
I always get mine from MSA and they are as Mezz and others described, with the chrome strip and will say "void" if removed. My buddy bought his from Burt Lake Marina but we were going riding that day and it was too cold to apply it, so he carried it in his pocket. I can't say with any certainty whether it was the same as mine or not, didn't really pay attention to it.
