Will be sledding to Hurley from Sayner.

Would like to overnight in Ironwood.

Will I need a trail pass just to ride to the hotel and back to Hurley?

Thanks

If going to get busted without permit that would be the place. Cops know what is shaking in that area & looking for ya easy bust & donation to the fine state of MI. LOL

Thanks for the replies:
The plan was to park the sleds at the motel and walk to a restaurant for dinner & drinks.
Seems to be a better selection of motels/prices in Ironwood.
However if I add in the fine or cost of the permit I’ll have to stay on the south side of the line.
Thanks again.

Answer is yes. Taxi to the hurley bars. Cops a plenty. Mi state Police sit right on the border. You would think you were going to a foreign country at bar close time. Been there took the taxi as my buddies all got breatherlized and loaded into a cab. (Better than jail). No permit is a flag to check you for drinking. Permit cost is equal to a good lap dance. Jail time for DUI will run you thousands.
