See if you can seal up the holes/gaps in the trailer. Spread mouse poison all around the trailer, focusing on places they can crawl up, tires, jacks, stabilizers etc..... Sometimes Bounce original fabric softener sheets work by stuffing them in around the wire harnesses and such, but ya gotta pull 'em out before each ride. I would say you need to focus on the trailer though, keep 'em out to start with. Can you park the trailer on concrete or gravel? Sometimes it helps just to keep the trailer outta the grass.

Bounce sheets and moth balls in the trailer. If you can, put the tires and tongue on top of some gravel, for whatever reason this has worked for a number of people.

The Wheel of Death IS thee only solution..period... It doesn't go off and always has bait on it. We have em in all of our sheds and shacks and outhouses etc...

well to all the moth ball bounce guys I had a mouse issue on a sled 1 time they used chunks of the bounce and chunks of the mothball box to make there nest.
I was pulling baby mouse carcase's out of the reeds on that thing.
I have a bud with a pick of his camper that the mice chewed open the box of mothballs and built there nest in it

No. What is the wheel of death.

Put two notches acrossed from each other on the rim of the bucket.
Put a hole in the middle of the bottom of the beer can. The beer can goes on the arrow and the arrow rest in the
two notches on the bucket.
Put the peanut butter on the middle of the beer can about 1in wide.
Put a piece wood going up to the rim of the bucket (a ramp). They jump on to the can and it spins.
Traps them in the bucket. Put water and maybe some RV anti-freeze 3in deep and its a pool party.

The key to traps is to bait the trap with peanut butter when it is not set. re load the traps every day, let them get used to eating off the trap for a week, then bait and set the traps, tons of them. You will knock down the population quickly. Follow up with bait blocks.

How are they getting into the trailer? I would concentrate on keeping them out. As others have said, seal up any openings with heavy duty caulk or something. You can also staple expanded metal (heavy duty metal screen material) along any areas that they might be squeezing into the trailer. At work we've tried fabric softener sheets and moth balls with little to no success. When I got my enclosed trailer I installed a cement driveway extension around the side of my garage. So far, eight years later, no mice, yet.

This may also work:

Charcol.

Yep.

Some friends of mine told me up at their hunting camp,...they would
find piles of the De-Con as if they played with it, and same stories of
the moth balls and dryer sheets.
someone told them to put a paper plate down by the doors with 4 or 5
charcol briquettes,.... so they did,... and NO mice since.
It's worth a try.
Plus it doesn't stink like moth balls do.
(I hate that musty smell)

My .02cents worth
