CHILLY: You always have food on your mind. Most all your threads are food or women... What gives,, Time to enjoy the trail ride and not the food..HA HA
Minnesota ------ Minneapolis...........Murrays Butterknife steak for 2, Wisconsin ------- Milwaukee............Trocadero Gastrobar on Water street (a lottle out of the way but worth every effort to find) Life is way too short to eat cheap cuts, drink bad beer or smoke cheap cigars. Michigan -------- They eat real meat?????? I thought they all ate pasties and road kill !!!!! lmao !! settle down, just kindin' !
In Wisconsin, the tenderloin at Goodman House in Goodman or the tenderloin at Popp's Resort / Renee's northwest of Crivitz gets my vote. Wally at Renee's also makes the best old-fashions ever tasted, what a great combo with the tenderloin
In MN, gotta go with Phil's in Stillwater. Been way too long since I was there.
There used to be a place north of Calumet MI that was called the Country Haus. I think it closed a few years back due to tax issues but they served a wicked prime rib. Sorry to see it end.
In Northern Wisconsin, Blink Bonnie's in St Germain is an all time favorite but I did eat at the Iron Nugget in Hurley last Saturday and their steak was awesome too.
The Dogpatch in Munising filled us up last year.
We also found a buffet in Gaylord with some good stakes a few years ago... I can't remember the name, but it was trail side.
You actaully get a pretty cool hoody sweatshirt, but you have to finish a salad, the meat, and a potato(fries or mash). They have lots of good food there though, and its a pretty nice bar. The gateway is my favorite place to stop.
