Temps have been in the low to mid 30's here in the Keweenaw. We had some unexpected freezing rain early this morning which eventually transitioned into a light snow by 6 am. Temps through the day have been above 35 with occasional mist. The current pattern looks to continue until Sunday afternoon with dropping temps triggering a Winter Storm Watch. Potential accumulations of 5 to 15" is possible. Winds projected to gust in excess of 45 mph creating whiteout conditions. Still a few days out & subject to change, we'll see.
