'Mileage man' preps for winter journey for a cancer cure

I do not know this guy but was touched by his story. I am thinking a few people that come to JohnDee.com may come across him sometime throughout this snowmobile season in MI, WI or MN. To help this man on his journey I think we should Think Snow!!

I remember reading Hondo's posts as he was setting the record. It was no simple task. We run 200 plus on many daily rides, but we go home after a week and take time off. I hope there is good snow this winter. It could get a little dull riding the highlands back and forth just to put on the miles.

I'm pretty sure we all would love to go out and play for 12,174 miles and set a new record, but it takes work just to document the riding.

Anyone know the sled he is riding? We spend about four weeks each Winter in that neck of the woods. I'll play lead for a few days to take the pressure off him if he is serious. I'm all for a new record. It would be nice to see it happen in the U.P.
