Totally, 6k is much respect from all of us.
The abrupt end to the season around March 8 really slowed many of us as I rode til March 31 last year. I could have easily got to 4,000 but oh well maybe next year.
Next year we wish for the best!

2,933. 712 was in Michigan, 2,221 in Wisconsin. 1,187 of the Wisconsin riding was from the back door, which is always considered to be our Plan-A. Yearly average for the past 20 years is 3,387. Total lifetime mileage (1965 to present) is now 114,722. Trailered 8 times this winter.

After reading the article I thought "what would have happened to sledding if Cat would have patented the slide-rail? We all have rails today and it seems antiquated after thinking that the rest of the sled has evolved so much over time. But, an excellent invention none the less.
