How does this work for times of travel, days of riding, etc. Looks like there are 5 nights included for lodging and meals. The Lava Mountain trip for example is Feb 19 - 24, which is a Sunday to Friday. Are those the days you are at the Lodge - arrive and check in on the afternoon/night of the 19th (Sunday), ride Monday the 20th through Thursday the 23rd, and then check out on Friday, the 24th? Do you end up riding on that Friday also? Just trying to understand what day you leave and get back, and how many days you end up riding.

Thanks!

The 19th - 24th are the check in and out dates.

Arrive and check in on Sunday a.m./early afternoon.
Ride Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and 1/2 day Friday.
5 and a half days of riding.
Check out Friday and Depart late afternoon.

It is roughly a 20 hour ride for the rig from Minneapolis to Lava. Allow for travel time on either side of check in and out dates.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks for the info. This seems like a great way to do it if you have a sled for that kind of riding. Going West isn't in the cards for me this year, but possibly next year. We rode in the Togwotee area this past March and saw your rig out there both at Togwotee and at Lava. During the drive back, I started to think it would be nice if someone else handled the driving. It wasn't a bad trip for us, since we drove a car and rented sleds, but pulling a trailer all that way would have added quite a bit of time I think.

Sled set up.....
Set up can be little to none with newer sleds.
We take guys with 121's all the time.
My first few trips out were even on 121's.
We haul you and your sled. Ride your sled most days and adjust to conditions, elevation and enjoy the sites. Then if conditions are favorable or you want the experience of mountain riding, then you can rent a day or two and still come out saving some $$$'s.

We handle the driving.....
You rest, watch DVD's, have some drinks, sleep, and we drive.

Thanks for the interest.

Keep Moms in mind for your next adventure, sledding our not, 'We Haul You & Your Toys".

Thanks again. I can't wait to get back out there again. I saw on your website that you sometimes go to MN. That might interest us also (our sleds are stored in NW Indiana off 80/94).

I have had contact with you for a few months now. Just sent payment in to reserve Island Park in March. Look forward to a great time. I love the idea of letting someone else drive. Hope to see you at Haydays. Great thoughts on bringing a shorttrack if that is all you have get used to riding then rent a longer track for a day or two...
