Modular kids helmet

Looking for a little advice………I need to purchase a new helmet for our son (3 years old) I like the idea of getting him a modular style so we can easily adjust the chin strap, wipe his nose and what not. But I am surprised by how few are on the market.

Any thoughts and ideas on the youth style modular helmets?

Thanks

Though the idea of a modular helmet for the little guy sounds like a good idea, perhaps a good full face would work as well & perhaps not be too top heavy for his neck when opened. Should be plenty of room to wipe that dripping nose with the shield opened. To make thinks easier for putting it on & securing it, consider a quick connect buckle. All in all, would probably be less expensive as well. Just my .02.-Mezz

We used snap on viser lite & could wipe full face....snap on snap off everything else was too big & too heavy.

I used open face helmets with snap-on face shields for my girls starting at age 2.5. Their little necks can get sore with too much weight on their heads. If you do use a full face at that age, I'd get one of those neck roll thingys that help support the weight of the helmet from wobbling side to side and possibly straining his neck.
