mold

Had the drain line from furance leaking. Got that fixed and dried up the standing water. But it must not have been totally dry and now I believe there is some mold on the floor. Anyone know of some good cleaners to remove it? Basement is nothing special. Has painted concrete floor. Thanks.

Muratic acid - Used to use that on the bottom the boat. I wasn't smart enough to wear goggles and ruined alot of t-shirts, But, I can still see :)

The painted floors should not be a concern. You can fix that later

While bleach is cheap and effective, it might not last as long...and it could come back. Try and dehumidify the area which will prevent moisture from forming on the colder floor and feeding the mold.

If you do use bleach remember it is caustic and can harm your lungs if you don't use it with good ventilation. Open the windows and stick a fan to force air thru and get rid of the fumes.

Muriatic acid would be over kill in a contained space funes will kill ya. I would use diluted bleach might be able to save floor paint too. Don't use sledge hammer on a finish nail small mold problem needs bleach clean up. Keep area dry & should be AOK.

I use bleach for most types of mold works great .if u got lots of growing mold Google mold cleaners
BioCide100 works well fiberlock products also work well but both are prob overkill for your issues
both of them around 30 gal but I think a 2 buck jug of bleach is fine for u if the Sheetrock absorbed some of the watter u may want to get a meat injector and poke it in to each joist space and inject a full srenge of bleach in to each damp bay to keep mold from growing between plate and rock.
most of the time just a fan and a good mopping is all that is needed

Thanks for tips guys. No sheet rock to worry bout. It's concrete walls as well. And the affected area is contained in the center of the floor. I prolly try the bleach thing first since I already have it. As far as washing it with soap, will regular dawn dish soap work? Thanks again.

Dawn will work just fine. Once it is cleaned up, and you have the leak fixed you should have no further problems.
