Went out with MOMS this year for the first time, last year I flew out to Jackson and rode Alpine. I would have to say that going out with MOMS was much easier, cheaper and less hassle than flying. Plus I got to take my own sled renting can add quite a bit of money to the trip. I brought my own drinks cheap, paid $9 a drink at Airport lounges. I brought my own tools, spare parts, oil and 2 large bags for no extra cost. Watched DVD's on 2 tv's, slept on a very soft bed laying down, did not have to worry about breakdowns on tow vehicle. I rode 5 days this year going with MOMS cheaper than I rode 3 days renting and flying last year. The food is outstanding, you will not be hungry after eating. Not much more to say just GO RIDE
How does that work with food? I figured that the food in the package depended on the lodge you ended up at? (I suppose I could direct my questions straight to Mom's but thought I'd rather just ask on here and get more people's perspective on it). I like this idea the more I keep thinking about it...

It depends ln the location you go to as how and who prepares meals, (I gained weight last trip with them). IP and 10 mile trips Paula Mom cooks for the group, Breakfast and dinner. We never come back at lunch time and lunch isn't part of the pkg. but if you do Paula usually has a crook pot of chilli going or something. If you are going to Cooke City you will eat at the Bear Claw Bakery, breakfast is off the menu, whatever you want and dinner consists of Steak, fish Chicken, Lasagna, etc. something different each night. and dessert to die for! Tog. is on the Tog. Pkg. and Lava mtn. trip can vary depending on how you want to do it for meals. Lodge or cook your own. this IP trip I am shipping my sled out and driving the VW deisel out at 42 mpg with 2 other guys. I am lodging and meals with Moms. Rick, Jacob and Paula Mom are extended family to me. They will make you family too! This is my 7th trip with them.How does that work with food?
