anyone been to the monster truck jam at the mpls metrodome before? i have never been there and was wanting to take the wife and kids on jan 23rd, and was wondering where the best place to buy tickets and where is a good place to sit?upper or lower, what section, any help would be great thanks in advace, oh and i almost forgot, GO VIKINGS lol

We have been there and got our tickets through one of the auto parts stores. I honestly can not remember which one, but the price was pretty good. The big players are great to watch and quite impressive. The show itself is OK, but they have a fair amount of downtime between things. Hope the kids are good about hanging around to wait for the next event.
ya the kids are pretty good about waiting around, i was just wondering on tickets cause the metrodomes site for tickets is $35 for the cheapest ones and ticketmaster was under $30 but had them for $20 with extra fees, so with the variation in price i thought i would try here
I'm going to the one in Chicago on Feb.13th. got tickets thru ticket master,$35 each for 2 adults and 1 child. upper section on the railing.........should be good seats.
if you get there early,they have all the trucks lined up for photos with kids(or adults LOL). you can meet the drivers and crew as well.

I halled a few kids from the neighborhood to the dome a few yrs ago for the monster truck thing I bought cheep seats after about 1 hr the kids convinced me to just move to the lower section lots of open seats no real security.then thay wanted to move 3 or 4 more times that night to get diff views .what ever it was fun the kids loved it
