Ok so I get this email showing pics of to moose and one white one just north of Presque Isle, WI.
Is this true or some internet BS, I have never heard of moose in the UP or northern WI

We have pictures of a 1.5 year old bull moose just northeast of Antigo taking last year about this time. It wasnt internet pics, or photoshopped stuff, it was taken by people that have a cabin next to ours. The DNR was shown the pics, and told the location of the moose at the time of the pics.

The moose by PI were eaten by a big bad wolf!

Yes, I see where that moose really got loose.
But I caught the ol' rascal and fixed it.

Try the link again. Thanks for the speedy catch!

my profile picture is of a moose track on the shoulder of M-28 right by Andy's Bar in Seney. I took it this past fall before I was put on my seasonal furlough with the DNR. It measured just over 12 inches from the tip of the hoofs to the back of the dew claws.

If you ride alot anywhere west of watersmeet close to deer yards you will see a pack of wolves. Green bay guy shot one during Mich gun season!

A reliable source saw a wolf on the trail from consolodated to the PI lake boat landing (by the old Retreat)in 08. Haven't seen a Moose. Yet. Saw a mouse in the cabin.

There has been a Moose by my old house in Natural Lakes(just north of Boulder Jct.) spotted many times in the fall looking for some companion. They are in the Ottawa and wonder down. Have also seen a Wolf in Consolodated land and in Northern Highlands a few times.

We see moose quite often up by our cabin, along with wolves. Always a thrill to see either.

Moose were re-introduced into the UP in the early 80's. I have some old pics of when they were released just northwest of Ishpeming. Yes wolves and brain waste disease has been hard on them but they are still around and tend to wander. By the way wolves were also re-introduced but the hunters have been controlling that population.
