Also noticed Cat's 2012 financing program (yeah, I know, don't finance toys!) no down payment, no interest, no payments until March 2012, $500 rebate upon delivery in Sept., and a 2 year warranty. Nice program.

Chane case holding oil? guess room is at a premium.why would the muffler need a jacket?

hard to see but looks like on upper pic there is alloy framing inside nose where arms and shock are connected.best part about the M was you could tear the spindle off the sled ride it home on the belly pan and no bulk head damage just arms and shocks hope they will still do that.but now I know why the Chane case has that big box on the top 1/2

Found it interesting that the outer chain case was the oil resevoir for both the 2 & 4 stroke engines. Anyone know if there is a drain plug for changing the chain case oil?

Jacket on the muffler to keep the chain case and side panels from getting too warm?

Fabric is way lighter than metal shroud...Polaris muffler is like a suitcase...lots of weight and they get red hot on a turbo. Very smart use of blanket materials protect both the muffler and the dummy who might stick his hand on there trying to pull out a stick or something else.

Is the chain tensioner part of the cover or does it not have one?

I read some place self tensioner also is it me or is that helix a larger than the old helix looks to be atleast 1.5 bigger and the white rollers are gone looks like brown rock rollers

That sled also has notches in the helix. Why would a turbo have that setup? There would not be engine reverse on the turbo 4 stroke. Unless . . .

Probably cheaper to design and build one style reverse cut helix at this point. The production 4s might come with a different setup completely. I would think a 4s would require a different clutch tuning than the 800. Jmoa!

Ezra is correct. They have a self ratcheting tensioner setup but it looks like it was removed for that picture. I think on the AC site you can see a picture of it if I remember right.
