We just returned from a 10 day trip to the UP, based out of Mass City. We enjoyed everyone we talked to and all the stops we made. Kip at Pat's went above and beyond. I pulled in there one night with the truck to see what the hours were and had my lights pointed at the door and Kip came out of the shop and opened the door and asked what I needed, Told him I was just wondering what the hours were so I could come back and get a jacket and he invited me to come in and pick one out right then, the next morning we had a polaris go down piston was hit by the power valve brought it to Pat's, they had the piston replaced and power valve fixed by the end of the day and he was back on the trail. Everyone we met the entire trip was very friendly and sitting here thinking about it I can not think of anything negative about the trip. Now how do I figure out this work thing so I can spend more time in the UP riding?

If one is starting a similar business and you're looking for the perfect business model, look no further than Pat's in Greenland!

Maybe any type of business for that matter! :)

I thought they were great. We got down to Kenton and Sidnaw and up to Copper Harbor. A few bumps here and there and a bit of water at first but everything is froze up now and looking good. I put 1100 miles on and I would say about 1000 of that was really good and the other 100 was still fun.
