Supposedly will be back this season. Paradise could really use it since there isn't any other bar within 10 miles. How was the riding? Heading up next week.

The riding was fantastic (trail riding). 3 1/2 days----850 miles. We based out of Seney. Even went as far South and East to St. Ignace.

Been there. About 20 years ago. One thing though, there sure was a lot of yellow snow between the bar & the outhouse. lol.

I have been to Pit Stop a lot during the summer atving. Usually just saw their bartender there, very nice place, no liquor license, only 2 in town that hold those, one being the Plywood Palace, aka Moquah Bar.

Is it available for weddings ???

They have a Jukebox that ROCKS, so good luck he is open for your wedding, he comes and goes as he pleases! Oh, no running water there, don't drink out of the glasses, he wipes them with a rag...................

Probably safe not to stand in the outhouse, the floor is about ready to fall in.................

We'd stop there for some beers and the women would always hop on the sleds and run back down to the pit stop to use the bathroom!

My buddy ordered a mixed drink there before I could warn him. It's quite the place. Long haul actually from Hurley since you can't ride through the indian reservation. Heard they were working on that though.

Yep My first experience there was way back in the early 2000. The guys sent us there, they has sled issues, they'd meet us there ( yep this was before I moved here) Us women walked in 1 door and out the other! Like I said , just making a fun post! Yep, yuppies stay away, this place looks more "awesome" in the summer, but worth the stop. Well at least he is still in business, not like the Other Place in Iron River that has been closed since March.

Oh yes the cardboard palace as we used to call it. Back in 1995 we had a group of 12, all couples, that snowmobiled that area quite a bit. That year we took an extra couple had never been there before. All day the rest of us built up the story of how we could not wait to get to the Palace for dinner that evening. Needless to say, it went over as the best joke of the year.
