munising to paradise

Thinking of doing a day trip from Munising to Paradise and back in one day. Can it be done and what is the mileage round trip? Thanks.

About 280-300 miles round trip depending on what way you go. Yes it can be done in a day. Weekdays are always best with lower traffic.

You won't be able to do it on a weekend. The trails will be beat to crap . Tuesday to Thursday best bet to get it done in a day.

I have done it twice this year. It's 117 miles to the Falls from Wetmore via 8 heading out of The Bear Trap,- to 88 to 443 to Redz Wolf Inn and North Store Gas ,then -North up the road to 9 to Pike Lake road shortcut to the Falls trail. Add another 15 miles to go into Paradise. It is a great ride. We went on weekends, and it was not beat up trails. Seney Snowmobile Association and Taquamenon Trails Association cover most of the area and know how to take care of trails. Hats off to them both.
