I rode 60 miles the other night and then went ditch banging last night in the huge drifts that we have here in se mn and my god are my arms sore!!! Never been stiff/sore from sledding before but man. I turned 30 at the end of november, do you think that has something to do with it?? Still great to scratch the itch though!!!

thats just the first ride or two. I'm almost 30 and last year when I worked out every day after the first ride I still was a little sore, think it still takes a little getting used to. Its not like bein in your late teen or 20's.

Like the others have said, wait until your 40! Hey at least you get to ride. The first big dump of the year and I am sitting watching the snow. I was in a car accident last week and am recovering. It may be another week or better before I can ride!

I always get sore after the first ride, just using different muscles is all. I will turn 42 next month, wish I was 30 again. LOL.

I live in se mn. The sixty miles didn't bother so much as that was mostly road riding. Lots of fun to race down mainstreet!! It was the drift busting and getting stuck in neck deep snow drifts that made my arms hurt!! Trails don't open until monday here, so been waiting patiently!!

slimcake,
We live about 40 miles north of LaCrosse. The bluffs always give you that work out as you are going around on a side hill most of the time, or bustin the drifts that form on the edges of the bluff. I have not been out yet. Have to wait until end of Dec. I had a hernia operation two weeks ago, so doc says I cant snowmobile until January 1st. Can't wait to go, but don't want to push it and be out for the entire season.
