Has any body had this problem? I was tickering with the clutch a bit with the shims to get rid of the rub noise. Even had a Cat mech. help me adjust the clutch with the shims. I seem to have a prob with the bolt coming out.

appreciate the comments.

Tried it once and the guy at Keweenaw Motor sports put it on there. sled sat for 10 hours b4 I rode the next morning so I'm sure it set up. but it keeps coming loose. Usually have to tighten it every day, but want to get it done right. Thanks.

If the bolt isnt catching enough threads it will vibrate and back out everytime. Im not sure how many shims were used or what direction you had to go with the shims or if it has anything to do with your bolt but possibly a longer bolt could do it.

Try a new bolt, the old one sounds like it could have damaged or stretched threads. Also clean out the threads on both surfaces they might have some oil on them.

try a bdx deflection kit has alloy deflection adjuster with a longer bolt with a rubber o ring on the end that goes through the deflector to the shaft

i wouldnt put an loctite on there it vents through the bolt hole. dont want any blockage for the drive. I would have you or your mech pull the clutch apart to see if it is put together right. Sometimes it can be put back wrong very easy if you dont know what to look for. you have some vibration backing that bolt out maybee even do a run out on the shaft out of the drive

I wonder if that is an issue with the F1000? We helped a rider last season that had his pop out on the trail. We have not seen this happen on our 800 motors so we thought it was a fluke.

Do not use locktite. There is a vent cut into the bolt threads for the DD. I would hate to see you lose seals because it is no longer vented. There are not many threads being used with the standard length bolt. Are you running a lot of shims for deflection or offset? We have had to take out the flatwasher and lockwasher just to get the threads to catch on a few occasions.

thanks guys, still working it out to find the solution.....got my guy checking out the clutch. doesn't seem to set properly and not enough threads seem to be somewhat the problem. have had alot of belt burn off on my last trip also. so something is not aligned. my bolt is gone on top of it all, and I was on my way to be clutchless on the trail...... appriciate your guys input.... gunna check out that link....

so far so good...

there was a bunch of deflection washers on the back of the secondary which was pushing out the clutch, set by Neilsen in lake villa, and it seemed to be so much that not much thread was getting into the shaft.

Took out a washer which gave me an 1/8 or so, new bolt, washer and lock washer and it seems to be what it should be. Adjusted the deflection on the other side also...no loosin up so far.....Just a couple test runs before the trip to Calumet. Thanks for the suggestions.
