I had that upgrade on my 1st summit (1995 w/ vin#0004). While it added more weight it was one of the smoothest rides I ever had. Have fun with it

doo_dr, did you have to put stiffher coil springs in the two in back. I just got done installing it and not sure if the stock one are going to work.

Nope! I had fairly good condition springs and shocks (mtn riding and not ditch banging) so all worked well.

I loved my 95 Formula Z, rode the crap out of it, Bulletproof sled, I hit a pressure ridge at 80mph, flew and rolled 100 ft. came away without a scratch on the sled. Luckiest day of my life, I learned alot that night! I havnt had a beer while riding since and try not to ride with big drinkers. Enjoy the ride, I still think that is a great looking sled 16 years later.
