My Pics From Past Years "Season Opener"... Lets See Yours

Now that the Dec. 1st season opener date is finally upon us, I went looking thru my picture archives a few years to see what kind of opener I had in the past. Here's what I found... Now lets see some of your pics of your official "Seasons Open-First Ride" of the year.

I'll start with 2009 and go back from there:
2009 was a great start... I have a condo in Alanson, Michigan on Crooked Lake which is close to Indiana River. We waited until Dec. 7th to chase a huge snow event that was supposed to happen and it did, BIGTIME!!! Between system snows backed up by awesome LES we ended up with some killer first of December conditions. Anybody else ride this area during that snow storm?

just a couple more from '08 before I move onto 2007 pics... Love the garage pic, no cars in there - packed full of sleds!! Also after a few drinks we got the kids 120 out for some rips in the front yard. Anybody ever seen a 200 pound adult get the front end off the ground jumping a 120... I have, Ha-Ha. Thats a 120 with some killer mods, trust me.

O.k here's 2007 opener... This was when we chased a big snow event December 3-6 that was in the Keweenaw Penninsula out of Calumet. We saw no other sleds during this time... it was wierd, kinda like we owned the Keweenaw.

O.k that should be enough to get this thread started... NOW LETS SEE YOURS!!!

HEY.... where did you steal ( I mean borrow ) those beer signs from ????? ( LOL )
I wish I could claim such success on opening day, I normally go the shortest distance to good snow or acceptable snow ( usually ) Baldwin Wellston Caddy ASAP and start testing the sleds for our trip to Gogebic on x-mas.

Last season, we had our best start.
It is always a good thing to wake up and see the vehicles covered in snow. We have had many early season trips rained or melted out over the years.

O.K. It might be time for that snow dance as the opener draws near. 2006 was a good opener for me. Come on and bring it on!

Great pics guys!!! Gettin' me stoked to ride. Just an FYI... I don't need to see pics of deep powder to get me excited. Lets see your scenery pics, trail pics, pics of the family playing in the snow, whatever. If it has to do with snowmobiling or the "white stuff" in general post your pics here!! Heck even if its just a good story about snowmobiling, tell it here. Lets get pumped for the season!!!

I don't know where my buddy Nick got the beer signs, I like 'em though!! Actually Nick likes his bars so I'm sure he was able to talk the owners of those establishments into giving him the signs at the end of the sled season. Thats his garage... pretty sweet drive in, drive out door system he has - thats a sled head for ya!!
