My redneck mower

Hope this makes you guys laugh. It works too. But you have to pedal so hard so i took it apart and i'm going to try something different tomorrow and if that don't work easily i know what i'm doing next.

That looks like a lot of work. You must have some hard/smooth topsoil and thin grass. Would be nice here in July/august when the grass burns up and the ground gets rock hard to run around and hit the long spots, assuming body weights is positioned back enough.

Swivel wheels on the front of the mower might help.

indy, it's been said before (by others) but I have to say it again...........it's great to see you out side messing around (most young adult these days just sit inside on the darn computer or phone), even though 90% of the stuff never really works they way you plan.

It looks fine right now but if you have any pink paint left over it could look even better. That contraption will probably never be functional so it may as well look good. Pink!!!

swivel wheels like mentioned above and self propel on the mower so you don't have to pedal so hard

Put a bigger wheel on the bike so you will always be going downhill......

Good work Indy, keep trying and you will succeed.
Maybe think of a way to use the real front wheel of the bike, then design a frame to suspend the mower deck out in front off of the front forks?
As stated above, good to see you are out trying things like this an not sitting in front of a computer / game all the time

Thanks all, i tried mounting it behind the bike today but i didn't like how that went. I'm thinking of attaching it to the side of my riding mower so i'd have a 50" mower and if i don't do that i think i'll try to improve my first design.
