As some of you know I had put this sled up for sale..couldn't get the price I wanted so i fixed her up..it has a new top end, clutches cleaned, diamond drive serviced, shocks redone, new front arm on rear suspension, new bushings and bearings (even new wheel bearings)...new drive sprocket (left side was broke). It also has new front end bushings..all I need now is some carbibes, and a new belt..sled had 10,600 miles on it (that's why I had the top end rebuilt)...I also added a new track..I bought this track at tracks usa, they called it an arctic snow cross track it's a 1.3 lug similar to a cobra (see picture)paid $435...what do you guys think...will this be a good track for yooper powder?? I wanted something that was good on and off trail..but better than the ripsaw 1.25 was. I would like your opinion on this track..Do you think it will work well off trail??? I am excited to see how much of a difference there is between this and a ripsaw.

This is my machine: (and new track)

I think it will too...I am guessing I will lose a little top end speed (but I don't care about top speed so much)...I do think I'll have to watch it on hard pack for slide wear...might wear faster with the deeper lug.

it almost looks like a Challenger that I have always liked.I had a 136 1.5 challenger on a zr was just ok had to stay on the gas and never stop unless in a set of tracks.but a xfire already floats well so you should be ok. anything is better than a rip saw for pow.I have a 2 and 1 1/4 and a set of Dalton adj weights just pull the small screw out when using the 2in.

Thats the track that came on the late model sno pro zrs, and the narrow version was on the sno pro firecats. I have been quite impressed by that track. Firecats with that track seemed to out preform my xfire in the powder when it had the ripsaw, that is until I upgraded to a 1.6 paddle.

1.25 rip saw, no good for POW. The 1.5 you put on will be a marked improvement! I am running a 1.6. & no issues. You will like it.-Mezz

I wondered if that was the old sno pro track...but a friend of mine said those old zrs used cobras ....but you can see this track is different than a cobra
