Of course my right leg hasn't been the same since the new hip joint in 2011, which contributes to the problem. It's not the hip joint, but the long muscles in the right thigh that are making walking difficult. Also, I can hardly bend the leg enough to get my shoes & socks on, never mind extended walking. (Drat!)
I think the 91 year old veteran of the D-Day invasion on the beaches of Normandy, who was on my flight from Phoenix to New Orleans on Monday was friskier than myself! And he said he was looking for a wife! He certainly did get a well deserved rousing cheer and applause from the full plane load of passengers!

wow, my computer locked up and sort of got stuck while I was hitting the post quick reply button. I didn't feel like messing with it so I just shut the laptop and put it on the counter....neat I guess I just did a Pete and RePete joke on myself.....
