NCN cameras

When I go to the Northwood Cam Network and click on a snowflake, I expect to see something.
If a camera is off line for an extended period of time or no longer going to display an image on NCN, can the snowflake be removed?

Here is the quick rundown on the NCN:

I do not own or maintain the majority of the cams in the network. They are provided by businesses or private individuals that have a cam and want to be in the network.

I do preform a pretty through audit as we get into the heart of the winter (late Dec into Jan). The reason why I wait so long is that there are quiet a few cams at businesses that close down briefly in the late autumn and early winter. So I give them time to open back up, get up to speed and then try and contact them to see if the cam is no longer available or the address for the image has changed.

I also will let cams be silent for around a month before I do anything, just because the cams are not always a high priority for the business or perhaps they are at a cabin/camp that the owner does not go to every week.

If you come across cams in which there is no image at all, or an image from last summer, feel free to list them here. It will help take some of the man hours out of my auditing tasks.

Subtle is a great way to put it! I really just wanted to explain things, but for some reason could not resist the unsolicited life lesson. Really am hoping it might resonate with anyone willing to try to make a change.

That bottom comment John is spot on!!! I like it. My father many times told me that I would encounter far more disappointments in life than satisfactions. Except it, and move on. Another one on that same page is, You need to learn to deal with reality, as it, reality that is, will surely deal with you!!! Life is short, enjoy it!!!
