Ha Ha! You're gonna have to settle for the 1.75 fingered bird, rather than the 2 fingered version!

Safety is important and is a part of my decision process.

One other useful bit of info. I bought in WI and was not liable for sales tax, being an out of state resident. Substantial chunk of savings, when you're talking a 8-9k purchase!

My gravley zt-hd 60 was only like 5k and change. Whit the kawi motor. 8-9k crazy.....

8-9k for a new commercial grade unit. No matter the manufacturer. Just is what it is....semi-commecial or aka super residential might be a different story?

I'll say it again.. it's a tough pill to swallow... But you write the check one time if you buy full on commercial and use it residential.

Jeezus my zt-hd is built like a tank. Mowed my 2 acres before I had a lawn established. Ruts and bumps and ditches. All with a 280 pound rider. 3100 drive motors and rops capable makes it the perfect machine!!

You got greasable spindles on that deck? Welded or stamped? Kawasaki built to same specs as commercial? Let me know how that all works out ten years from now..lol. Not trying to be confrontational, just saying... You get what you pay for. Just like anything else!

Also, you stated you mow 2 acres....double that and you might have a different frame of mind???

You sell mowers correct? So a bit of bias. It's a welded deck. Heavy heavy built. Not greasable. That's a good thing. I sell farm machinery. So I understand things like grease and sealed bearings. You have a dog in this fight. I don't. If you knew your competition you would know what a gravley zt-hd was....

No I do not sell mowers. I do not have a dog in the fight. Just did so much research before I bought that my head still hurts! Lol. Personally, I don't view a sealed bearing versus greasable as an advantage. The exact opposite in my mind. But we all have opinions....

Exmark all the way don’t skimp and get the suspension platform.. I cut at 8-10 mph all the time ... but can go up to 13 and man it cuts.. oh yes I also cut my alfalfa field once a year with it.. it will cut down 4 ft tall grass and weeds... no slowing this hog down...

I have a Hustler with a flip up Deck. We mow 3 Acres with lots of Trees. I would buy another Hustler with the flip up Deck, I hate crawling under a jacked up Mower.

Also if you have hills at the new place the zeros(unless a big heavy one) can be very dicey on hills especially with wet grass!
last year I was cutting my in-laws grass with a $5k bolands zero and it spun sideways and slid down a”not very steep Bank” and I went over a 2 foot wall! Damn thing tipped over on top of me and kept running- blades shut off when I went off the seat but gas was running all over me and my right arm got all scrapped on the gravel drive and bloody!
i ended up having to kick it off me like a sled on top of me in the bush!
no roll bar on that one!
scared the crap out of me tho
that why winter rules!
snow is much softer on the roll overs!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but..... a grease zerk doesn't indicate a greaseable bearing, I think most would be surprised how many aren't, many of them the grease is there to fill air space between the bearings to prevent rust and corrosion, and the ones who aren't aware or educated about this and pump until grease comes out the bottom...just ruined the seals on their bearings, some spindles had a pop off valve that would open once the cavity was filled, other problem with zerks is using proper grease and properly greasing. Toro had one of the heaviest mower spindles in the industry in their commercial line up, and were truly greaseable and even they have went away from the greaseable spindle for years now and spindle failure was almost non existent.

I have a couple of friends who are in the lawn care business and when I was in the market for a zero turn they said look around and see what brands are on the trailers of professional grass cutters.. well I did and 2 brands were the most common.. I would recommend the same advice.. and well I now have 3 friends with the exact same mower as me.. costed more however changing oil and blades is easy.. oh and I beat the sh*t out of it all the time... ya I am not easy on things I have made gravel of rocks mow woods trails you name it.. it does it.. I found copper rocks on my property in da u p with it..
