Need advice on trailer glides

I need to get some glides for my enclosed trailer and know there are a few out there but would like to get input from anyone who has installed them on their trailer.

Pro and cons of the different brands and if you installed grips on the ramps for traction which one you used.

I have both Bergstrom Triple points and snowtrackers on my sleds. The snowtrackers are fairly deep and quite honestly this is the reason I'm not sure which glides to go with. The "super glides" from Super Clamp are appealing since they advertise to work with ATV's (for traction) and snowmobiles. They also claim to not be slippery when walking on them. But...they aren't that deep and I'm not sure if the snowtrackers would work.

I have a Triton 2 place enclosed. I use the guides that are from Triton. I'm not sure what brands they are though. I've had nothing but success with them. I like the track gripper because it sets the track up off of the floor. I also have dual carbides on both sleds and they drive up the guides just fine.

I'm not knowledgable about the stuff that you have.

I highly recommend a lower profile set-up. This will allow the trailer to be used for other applications. Here is a link for a the ones that I have on my trailer.

Triton also has a very nice traction system that provides great traction and does keep the track off the bed of the trailer. The only drawback is that the Paddlegrabber is not a low profile system. Here is the link...

Use old hyfax for traction bars.

I like the idea of using old truck bedliners. I'll bet you could get them free at a place that installs spray on bedliner material. (LineX, etc.)

I spent a lot if time trying to decide wich ones to buy.I know you said you wanted somethong with deep grooves, so this may be for general fyi for other people also. Slides are the best thing you can do for yourself. They are the best investment ive made yet for my trailer. I got low profile because they are less obtrusive, and you can slide the skis or manuever the skis/sled easier for positioning in the trailer.prices do vary a lot. They cut super easy with my circular saw and saber saw. If you need stainless screws to secure them home depot sells them preety cheap, cost about 12 dollars for entire s install. after looking around checking price, I bought here. http://www.discountramps.com/trailer-ski-guides.htm good customer service and shipped same day- recieved next day from west bend Wi. to chicago area. All pieces where perfect and uniform to each other. very happy. Good luck with however you go- Mike

Thanks

Appreciate all the suggestions. I had the floor Rhino Lined already so I'm not sure if some of you were referring to putting that on the floor but in strips. I want to protect the floor from my Snowtrackers. They are extremely aggressive. I also have a 4-place Triton (which is for sale) and used their slides. They worked good, but the snowtrackers would occasionally make little shavings off the plastic. I never checked to see if the ski was resting on the top of the ribs or if the sled was resting on the snowtrackers.

If I go low profile, which is what I want to do I'm not sure if the snowtrackers will slice and dice them since the ski won't be resting on the ribs of slides due to the low profile. That's what this boils down to. I definitely need the grips. The Rhino lined door is very slippery when it has snow on it. The track just spins when loading.

Nobody here have snowtrackers?

I have low profile glides, you can move the front of the sled around easier if need to and paddlegrabbers seems to work good for me .no snow trackers on my sleds.

I have the deep groove slides and like better than low profile, keeps sled in line, as sometimes ramp is at a steep angle.... also have paddlegrabbers for the track, like much better than the flat stuff no water underneath, no rippling effect....

i bought a boat load of them from Fleet Farm for my 4 place enclosed. the ski glides are great, if you install them correctly and leave them room to expand and contract. $8 for 5' i think?
