I swear this freaking weather is driving me nuts! 10 inches at the house down state and then none at the cabin in northern Mi where the sleds are.

I think I am going to become a "snowmobile collector" instead of a "snowmobiler." Seems like a easier way to justify the costs and a better way to save my sanity.

Give it 2 more weeks then solar angles too high anyway for new snow to hold up for trail riding. I'm down too so switching my head to boating no use dwelling on the things we can't control. Worse season since I moved north in 2004. I'm hoping snomo support biz can make it until next year as going to be very tuf going for them.:(

Well, I took my other two sleds that we have for our kids up to the cabin also, all 4 sleds up there, and down here in ohio we had two good weeks to ride and nothing to ride. Haven't taken the kids north yet. Never taking the other two north to leave them for the winter. Suuuucks!

Keep your head up! Winter isn't over YET! I feel your pain!

I feel your pain, my wife and I retired and moved to Hayward, Wi in 2005 so we could enjoy the snowmobiling - since then we have been in a summer drought and winter minimal snow zone. Seems like a force field over Hayward keeping out the rain and snow. Good news is we have had a pretty good year until the warm up. The last storm only dropped 3-4 inches here. The area (Minneapolis) we moved from has got pounded all freaking year and It really makes me crazy to see Atlanta and Memphis get more snow.

Weather you like it or knott...

Saber let's just call this season a washout and get ready for next year. He#l it's still better than the winter or 79-80 when we rode on rocks and dirt from Copper Harbor to get to Slims at Mohawk. Seriously a 120 minute ride. Today....45 minutes. What a difference 31 yrs. makes.

Stay tuned.

Next year will be the SNOW YEAR! The UP is just teasing all this year with low snow. Maintain your equipment and get ready for next year. I love snow!!

You know you can ride with us on Saturday night and are welcome to stay not sure if you would get a bed or a couch. I prefer the giant lazy boy it's so big it makes a grown man look like a little kid!

snow,shmo- time toget the harley out

Agreed-but since we got a foot of new snow here in Central Wisconsin the past couple days, I'm taking the day off Friday and riding. Gotta take advantage of this dumping--I'm sure it won't last too long this time of year. The Harley will need to wait a few more weeks:).

We need a 12 step support group , or an intervention, or rehab in Canada ! Is there a " SA " meeting anywhere ?

Most of us are in the same " boat " , looks like I'll be going back to this !

We kept hoping for some LES to show after the downstate blast. The cams just did not change. Are they all locked on that single screen?

It is frustrating. We would prefer to go up into God's country and enjoy the beauty while riding. But we have more snow in the cornfields. The sleds are confused.
