RainX Antifog liquid worked well today less fogging on glasses when stopped BUT it was warm today about 30. I have more fogging problems when in low teens & colder. I'll try it again later this week when gets much colder after some freshening snow on Wed. I can say RainX did help decrease fogging.:)

Was it just the standard rain x?

I have the most trouble fogging when my face gets hot. I think it's just the heat from my face. Most of the time the mod 2 by 'bring rope please' works well :)

It is a small black bottle Rainx Anti Fog clear liquid pours & smells like lighter fluid has same type of pop up spout so you can direct & control flow when you squeeze bottle. I applied or rubbed in with paper towel. My face did get hot today riding some super tight twistys but did not need to crack visor stayed clear all day but again only upper 20s to 30ish no sun need colder temps for true comapro.

What does it say on the bottle of rainX as far as using on plastic lenses? Z-spritz works and is made for glass or plastic lenses.

Label did say take care with some plastics. I used on my plastic variables, not bis, scratch proof, glare proof, photo lens back up glasses & worked AOK. Z-spritz may work great & would like to get some & try.thanks

For me it's my snorkle, I must have a deviated septum and my breath leaks out. Plus I'm a hothead....lol
For some reason, both my son & I get red faces & hot heads when exerting effort. I used to find that the mod2 worked better but is a cold helmet on cold days, excessive ventilation through all the mating surfaces... The real issue is I'm getting older and vision is pooping out. I thought about using vasoline ( in all seriousness ) on the snorkle seal. We used to use vasoline on our faces when we were young guns riding our jetski's in april...... Now that would cool u off.....

how do you know if it worked or not. Do you normally fog in the high 20's ?

I did say I thought fog decreased & want to try in colders temps too. Yes my glasses always fog when I stop in any conditions. Underway not so much.

Sounds like you have more issues than me with fogging. I wonder why that is with the mod 2? I usually will put the nose piece of my glasses on the breath box instead of my nose. I can see the same. It does help. Best helmet was the poo af-1 hands down.

Probably hot head moisture build up & I spend all day outside so no thaw time. I have been changing snot mop more often but when cold low teens & less my pipes start freezing up & that forces air out of mask. I have spare mask but when helmet vents freeze up I'm screwed. BRP mod is the best helmet for me that I know of & have 2. Actually yesterday with RainX the glasses lens stayed clear but late in day again after stopping to drain the snake the inside of the viser lens seemed to fog a bit & would not clear rubbed outside so know it was inside & venting didn't help. To me if you wear glasses your are going to fog & no more cheating for me this year I do need to wear the glasses so always trying to improve the fog event.

This morning it was 0 when we left for our ride down 13 south to the Root Cellar and over to the Lodge for breakfast. I fogged up on the way down so I used my Scott anti fog spray and never fogged again. I bought it in the UP several years ago and it never leaves my jacket pocket.

Lenny,

I would guess it's even tougher to not fog off trail as you are working and breathing harder as opposed to just trail riding.

Used the RainX antifog in -0 temps on my glasses yesterday seemed somewhat better during brief stops to drain snake, look at signs, gas up or whatever. I was outside about a full 5 hours & did not change brp mask snot mop. When I got home put sled on jack & cover & went blind with thick fog so went inside to take off helmet. The snot mop was thick with ice & the mask pipes had ice chunks so my breath was blocked no wonder I fogged when stopped & no air passing thru. This has been typical for me with brp mod & for good performance I need to change snot mop every 3-4 hours however when mask pipes freeze I'm screwed for outside adjustments. I do have spare mask ready to use but only use it during second leg of sub zero 8-10 hour day & have not been out for more than 5-7 hours straight this year. RainX antifog is an improvement for me but other factors are bigger problems that cause my glasses to fog.
