Sled- 2000 zr 600 136 track with 1.25 lugs, stock
Going up to the lake house in phelps wi aug 9, and was in need of some input on attempting to water skip for the first time.
Is my sled set up enough to last on the water?
What should i remove other then seat?
Speed going into water? and how much room would you have to get a head start?
Any other advise would be very helpful, I'm either going to go across my lake, which im at the end of, which is around 200 yards to cross, deepest part 6 maybe 7 feet. Or travel down the lake along the shore same depth and cutting across to my beach same path as my first possible path. Second way is easier as it is a boat landing to my beach where i can trailer over to boat landing.
All help would be very appreciated!
Thanks
