Nelson's snow motion - worth going to?

Got an email today regarding this - how does this compare with the Fall snow shows? I was thinking about maybe going since I have family in that area.

I called last year and they said they quit doing the sled races a few years ago. Still sounded like they had a lot of things going on. They normally do have some deals on things but with the internet most of the deals can be found somewhere online, just depends how hard you want to look for them. Overall it depends are you going for the deals or for the fun of the event?
