Never Seen A Boat Like This!

Supra

Are you referring to the first boat in the opening scene? If so, it looks like a Supra Comp. It is a direct drive competion ski boat and is fairly common. It has a big V-8 sitting right in the middle of the boat. This helps the boat plane out qucikly, have a low flat wake and is very stable. This kind of boat is used mainly for slalom skiing and trick skiing. The wake is too small for good wakeboarding. It also has tracking fins on the bottom to help with stability. It is not good for cruising around due to lack of room and they do not do well in rough water.

No this is not the TV ad & I'm very familar with Supra ski boats & other comp ski inboards & V drives. That is not the reference at all.

The link should come to the Floecraft Video. Floecraft with electric roof, inside seating converts to electric bed, enclosure with mood lighting, Garmin electronics, drop down rear tailgate, head , seats up to 20 people, fiber glass hull (also an unusual design) will do speeds of 40mph with a skier tied off the rear of the top.

Floe always has unique products but this boat is like no other I have ever seen by design & I'm always checking out boats a guilty pleasure for me. The best way to put it would be combination deck boat/pontoon boat /inboard ski boat/fishing boat & house boat. Wayne Floe always sees the world a bit differently than other manufacturers & his boat is a mind blower to me. I like the concept a lot but have no clue if the Floecraft does anything well or if the price is reasonale? It is worth your time to view if you like boating & post what you think or if you have ever seen anything like it?

Sweet boat, lots of gadgets. The open transom is a negative. you can lose small kids and pets off the back. That would work for the intercoastal waterways. The hull design scares me for the big lakes.

yeah hull was my 1st thought looks like a tri hull but I think it is a 34ft prob still not good for more than small rollers.looks like somthing a older guy{loaded cadillac buyer] with a pile of disposable income would buy for the kids and grand kids to pile in to and show off gadgets to buds

Floe calls it an inverted V hull & should be ok for lakes, rivers & intracoastal but I would not take it into any heavy seas either. Apparently the rear entry has a retractable electric heavy duty vinyl curtain with picture window but I agree the boat needs lots more than that to keep people & pets in the boat under hard acceleration. Fishing & swimming off the back should be easy & fun but I would not be comfortable with the rear end wide open when underway. Very cool but needs an enclosed stern.

The boat it is actually really cool. Wayne Floe the owner of Floe industries designed and built the boat and drive system. Seen it in person a few times up at Big Sandy in NMN. Still gotta get a ride sometime. We borrow his Supra sometimes to do some barefooting. Super nice guy!
