I R&D tools for a major power tool company. If you are about to buy a 18v drill/impact,hold off. I've been using this new production model for a week. This all in one power tool is a game changer. This isn't a as seen on tv product. I'm told the price point is in the $300 to $400 . You won't see it in the big box stores any time soon. The tool is geared toward the tradesmen and auto mechanics. The proto types were ok but this production model is perfect . I was told it will be available at Granger,Fastenall type stores within a month or two. Don't think of this post as a tease. I'm just trying to give a heads up. No pics.no brand names,no specs can be put on the web.

Picture a driver that can rotate the tires ,shoot deck screws, and drill holes. You can go from foot pounds too inch pounds with a push of a button. It's an all in one quick release chuck, works with gloves on. The motor is brushless. It's also very light.

The fancy chuck, and being able to go from inch pounds to foot pounds is key. When we test their tools, they give us the competitors tool to compare it to. This one stands alone. As far as the trash and the lawn, nothing can replace my teen age boys.lol

I'm not sure why a tile guy would be such a expert on impacts ? Maybe he owns a HD V Twin,no,every one knows the key to those vibrating sob's is lock tight and permatex. Could it be that he plans on doing top ends on his snow machines ? That can't be it either, you can take your time and use a box wrench. The pistons will be on back order,so what's the rush. :D !!!!!! Sorry Pr1,you set yourself up. I'm trying to out do the Polaris tramp stamp zinger, and its not that easy.:D

If you only knew. I also to happen to own an internet tool sales business that my wife runs. I get sent info on the new release stuff too. Send me an IM and I will send you a site address. I am not an advertiser here. If starting this thread was intended to market this "new tool" well you missed the mark. I don't see any setting up in this thread , Just a remark from a person who carries envy. Hope you work through it for the betterment of this great site.

You have to understand PR1, if HE has not used it, or heard about it, then it does not exist, or it is garbage. Take for example a discussion on SeaFoam awhile back. HE had never heard of it, so he called it "snake oil". :D

Marketing ???. Did I ever post a brand name? I've been testing tools for this company for four years, have I ever posted a pic or any thing about this company? My post was geared toward someone about to buy a impact driver.I don't get sent info on the tools, they give me the tools to use on real job sites. This helps them address problems before the tool goes into production . I'll make sure I have this impact on feb 2nd,to help pull your heads.
