New Copper mine might be coming to the Porcupine Mountains

The land has been scared before, mineing remenates remain almost everywhere from the early 1900's

I have to laugh a bit when I hear about scaring the land , when mother nature decides to flood and wash out a hill side , or rip trees from the ground with a tornado she just does it....gives 2 shits less bout what the trip over there own feet DNR says or thinks.

I wonder if it will happen.
Those guys have been doing bore samples for over a decade. I've yapped with a few of them over the years and they say the samples show good product but it's deep. Their early speculation was shaft mining. They also mentioned that copper isn't the only material worth digging holes that deep. Sounded like the samples were showing the mines would produce more than just copper.
