New Debate - Belts

I've used both OEM and Dayco. Never tried Carlise. For the price, I've never had a problem with the Dayco's. Although the OEM never let me down either.

Thoughts?

Giver a shot.
In the utv world, some aftermarket belts work great. I'll be putting on a non-OEM belt on my rzr this summer.
But I haven't tried it on sleds yet. I haven't had to buy a belt in two years, (Polaris) but I probably will this year. I won't put aftermarket on the mtn sleds til I know it's good, but I will try it on trail sled. Not sure if I will get much trail riding though this year.

If its a Yamaha sled... no reason to run any thing but OEM for the price.
Have run Dayco in a jam. Don't seem to last as long.

Is that the Dayco belts
yep I run the xtx and have for yrs . prob most because I get a good price on them and have had 2 fail in all the yrs I have been using . 2 cogs broke out of 1 and the other a cord pulled out the side . both were warrantied and I know the 1 with the cord out the side was my fault for running when I knew the clutches were not off set correct but decided to load it up and ride for the week

ez, I was at new man mall on HW 212 a few weeks back and the dayco belts were on sale- problem is they did not have a xtx for an 04 800 summit - I reluctantly bought the cheaper hpx and kept the reciept. Is the hpx worth a try or should I take it back? I am mostly off trail with this sled, often stuck in deep stuff,
thanks
also the dayco belts on the rack showed cord on both sides -is this a concern?
I bought two xtx belts for an 05 600 renagade- they showed exposed cord as well

well I can see cord ion the side of a cat belt but the 1 xtx the cord actually busted and was hanging about 1.5 in long . I have never used the hpx so cant say but I think they also warranty them
