New Luggage Tags

Going on a cruise in a week and picked up one of those newer style "spinner" suitcases. Needed something larger than my carry-on size I've always taken but I needed to figure out a way to help it stand out in the baggage claim area. Figured this would keep anyone from grabbing mine by mistake and may lead to making some new friends along the way too.

The first side is a stock photo I took off a web search, the other side is one I took on trail 3 heading north just past D's Base Camp.
I ordered it from Shutterfly. Was $10 but they had a 40% online discount code so it only ended up being $6. Not bad.

My wife tied about 8-10" of red, white, and blue ribbon on our bag handles. Easy to spot them right out of the shut.

I put 12" long pieces of red duct tape in a couple of places on our all black luggage. I don't care what my luggage looks like....they are easy to spot.

Nice thing with the Cats is that no one will steal them! Of course if you used Yamaha you'd automatically get charged extra for being overweight. And if you used Poo or Doo, well then you'd have to rebuild them every other trip...

good stuff! have an old cat sled cover- put it on my doo- call it my ATD- guys say what?!
I say anti-theft device- some guys don't think it's funny!!

It is hilarious watching everyone flip the hundred or so black bags around looking for there's .
They do make other colors than black.
I can see my red tummi from the back row before it even hit the carosel

Black hides the dirt for us frequent travelers. The red (or any bright color) duct tape stand out really well on my Walmart luggage. (It's spelled) Tumi luggage is for posers and wannbe's!

I still have a old tumi I use to haul and store trim guns has had that job for 15 yrs no rips yet . that thing has seen more abuse than they could dream of on the tarmac
